Description
Sainte-Anne church is a historic monument located in Turckheim, in the French department of Haut-Rhin.
The parish church of Turckheim (12th century), originally dedicated to the Virgin, was consecrated to Saint Anne from the middle of the 17th century.
Originally, it was a building with characteristics of Romanesque and Gothic art.
The nave and the choir were rebuilt in a neoclassical style in 1839. After a major fire in 1978, the nave took three years to be restored in 1981. (Description from jds.fr/turckheim).
