Description
The Ézaro waterfall (in Galician: Fervenza do Ézaro) or Xallas waterfall, is a waterfall that forms the Xallas river at its mouth to the sea. It is located in the municipality of Dumbría, province of La Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia (Spain).
The difference in level of the last section of the Jallas River is 155 meters, with the 40 meters of water running down the hill to hit the walls of the canyon located at the foot of Mount Pindo (630 m altitude). There are documented references dating back to 1724 that mention the waterfall, describing it as a huge smoke that could be seen from several kilometers offshore. This smoke leaves a fairly eroded wall of about 30 meters high. (Description from Wikipedia)
